Hotels' Lessons For Marketing to Multi-Generational Travelers

Hotels' Lessons For Marketing to Multi-Generational Travelers | Eco-Friendly Lifestyle | Scoop.it
Multi-generational travel looks bright heading into summer 2015.

Kim Truong's curator insight, April 26, 9:17 AM

This article discusses about lessons for hotels to market to multi-generational travelers. It is reported that multi-generational travel is set for rapid and sustained growth; therefore, this article is really good for hotel industry (Canadian Travel Press, 2015). In my opinion, hotels should renovate their hotels such as rooms, restaurants' tables in order to capture the multi-generational travelers. Take examples from this article, hotels can introduce suites and connect rooms or arrange more beds in the rooms. Moreover, well-trained staff is really necessary to take care of small children so that parents and grandparents could have time for themselves or serve old people. In short, this is a great article for hoteliers to have a better understanding about multi-generational travelers and renovation in their hotels.

However, it is not easy to get the agreement in booking of all members in multi-generational travelers’ group. Therefore, it is a need to have a good marketing strategy. It is my recommendation that hotels and local travel agencies should work together to provide enjoyable activities and tours so that multi-generational travelers  could experience a great vacation together.
