In the days before Sky Sports, instant replays and sky-high ticket prices in the Premier League, football was a far more simple sport. Fans stood on huge packed terraces as they watched their local heroes battle it out on the pitch, sometimes attending games with their own hand-made merchandise. These photographs capture life inside and outside of grounds for fans of clubs such as Luton Town, Newcastle United and Manchester United.

In 2005, Mickey found a way back to the city by working with Chris Isenberg- the brilliant founder of No Mas. At the time No Mas was a fledgling clothing company whose t-shirt designs celebrated the off-beat and infamous in the world of sports. Isenberg had found Mick's work by chance in an SVA catalog that had been sent to his mother, and he reached out to him to collaborate on a project.

We flew into Miyazaki last October to surf Curren's point during Typhoon Wipha. "It had been 20 years since Tom had surfed this spot and invited his daughter Lee-Ann along". This film is dedicated to our fathers.

Thomas Campbell is an up-and-coming Houston-based photographer who, among other things, specializes in shooting major sporting events. A Texas A&M Journalism graduate, he initially spent time doing non-profit marketing photography after college, which took him as far east as Africa and India. Eventually finding his way back home, Campbell dabbled into the world of sports photography.
