Prix Pictet: Power

Prix Pictet: Power | What's new in Visual Communication? | Scoop.it

Prix Pictet, the global award in photography and sustainability, has chosen Power as the theme for its fourth cycle. As a theme, Power has enormous creative reach, embracing both hope and despair in equal measure. Over two hundred nominators worldwide recommended almost 650 photographers from seventy-six countries, many of whom presented images that are both awe-inspiring and disturbing.

French photographer Luc Delahaye is this year’s winner.

Four photographers have been shortlisted for the £12,000 Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize.The prize winners and the winner of the John Kobal New Work Award will be announced at an Award Ceremony at the National Portrait Gallery on Tuesday 12 November 2013.
