Aperture Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Photography at Parsons the New School for Design, is pleased to present a talk with artist Sandy Kim. A self-identified “spark plug,” Kim authors images as provocative as they are insightful. Her subjects are her friends, and they revel in the casual pleasures of youthful antagonism.

The École de Communication Visuelle has invited Jean François Porchez to speak about Typofonderie and ZeCraft recent projects. Jean François is in charge of the Typography master launched in 2012 atECV. The lecture will be held in the same place as the TDC59 exhibition that is also being organized byECV. If you like typography, there are two reasons to be there next Wednesday 5th June 2013. The events are part of the Designer’s Days 2013. It’s a free event, but you have to book by email. If you are interested to visit the TDC exhibit, it’s better to arrive at least 1 hour before.
