The Reluctant Father highlights difficulties and changes to one’s life when a baby arrives. Far from the typical pictures of newborns, the little girl here is seen like a strange creature with which Toledano gradually tries to communicate.

But a newly-released set of images reveal a more informal trend for new mothers to be captured nursing their infants.
