L'art de la SAPE

L'art de la SAPE | What's new in Visual Communication? | Scoop.it

ECAL Library's insight:

The Sape is not only a fashion story but also codes of life skills and political awareness. Sappers are distinguished as much for their style as their ideals.

Knight Foundation, the symbols are now available for free download as public domain!

How one photographer's foolishness is saving endangered wildlife

How one photographer's foolishness is saving endangered wildlife | What's new in Visual Communication? | Scoop.it

Morgan Heim is a talented conservation photographer whose work I have admired for several years, and whose joyful, generous personality I admired from the moment I first talked with her. It takes a particularly optimistic, driven person to become a conservation photographer, and throwing in a bit of deliberate naïveté always helps to get projects on the right track (or at least, going forward in the right direction). Heim certainly has those characteristics.

How Rejection Can Inspire Great Movements: The Story Of MAKERS | What's new in Visual Communication? | Scoop.it
Veteran documentary producer Dyllan McGee has worked on more than a dozen films for PBS and HBO, but MAKERS is unlike anything she’s ever created. In fact, the project is the first of its kind--and the entire idea was born out rejection.
