This is very interesting especially since we are learning the topic on eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia. That's awesome that we have a week to support the fellow American's or Nation wise of people who are going through these bad habits. It says that Eating Disorder Awareness is this week actually, it started February 23 and ends March 1st.  There was a special event yesterday that helped others to understand this awareness and the effects of the body.

The famous mother of 19 kids Michelle Duggar reveled that she too suffered bulimia in her teens. Before marrying her former husband Jim Bob, she had told her hard tale to him and she says a certain freedom came out of her when confessing to him. At age 14, she was growing through problems and thought that throwing up was her only way out.

This article was very interesting to me because I can't imagine how tough it is to be a celebrities child trying to be the "perfect image" to others. It explains how Dr. Drew's own daughter was struggling with anorexia and bulimia from the pressures of being his daughter.

This Article is about a person who was sexually abused as a kid and from that traumatic experience always hated their body. Saying that they have been anorexic for 10 years and still want to live this way saying it is a lifestyle and not a disease. They today are encouraging others to intake food and love their bodies and they are eating 3 meals a day.

I thought this topic was interesting because I know celebrities such as actors, singers, artist all go through the same stress and struggles as infamous people today. Imagine getting a role in a movie but needing to look a certain way to play the part or fit that image. Actors like Tom hanks and Matt Damon shows images of them in different scenes or movies and they look completely than how they look today. It tough but that's how society works.

Maybe some unknown traumatic experience had occurred that you don't know about and that is okay.This article giving specific details on what to do if you think your child is having similar symptoms.

This article was about a woman who survived and turned her life around by becoming pregnant. She as a 19 year old only weighed as much as 5 pounds. Growing up as a kid, she thought having an excuse not to eat was what grown ups were to do.  Her family never had daily regular meals like normal people did and this habit of not eating corrupted her life. After finding out she was pregnant she knew this was a change and wanted to have this baby so she started a bigger calorie intake. She gave birth to a healthy 6 pound baby and she is happy that she is able to be part of a real family.
