Murderous Children: 11 Year Old Serial Killer Mary Bell

Murderous Children: 11 Year Old Serial Killer Mary Bell | Early Childhood Studies | Scoop.it

11 year old girl, Mary Bell, kills and mutilates for pleasure. One child had the letter "M" scratched into his stomach with a pair of scissors.  Mary targeted younger children and her tactic was strangulation. She was quoted saying "I like hurting little things that can't fight back." Mary is described from being "manipulative and intelligent, to violent and a frequent liar." Many times she also appeared emotionless and unresponsive, leading psychiatrists to believe she was a psychopath. Being a psychopath strikes an interesting dilema to me. It is said that psychopath's can't feel anything, but yet they claim they kill because they enjoy it... this means they can feel. In order for them to feel good they have to perform acts of evil.  Thus psychopathy must be a disorder derived from evil.
