Ade Ayonrinde's insight:

While Strategic Visualisation, Formulation and Execution appear to be the key focus of most Organisations, Communication of the Strategy in a clear and effective manner is essential. The very people who are supposed to execute the strategy need to understand it. Failure of executives to communicate their strategies could result in a dichotomy of the strategy-full and the strategy-less. The message is clear to executives; involve your employees in your strategy and communicate it or watch as those visions rapidy turn into nightmares.

Facebook's Copycat Strategy: All The Innovation It Needs

Facebook's Copycat Strategy: All The Innovation It Needs | Everything Innovation, Enterprise Architecture and Strategy | Scoop.it
Facebook isn't a particularly innovative company, which may be a key reason it's winning.
Ade Ayonrinde's insight:

So it appears facebook's approach to innovation is read and write content plus buy other companies innovations. Seems kind of interesting business model. If you dont have to innovate to keep up your competitive strategy and instead rely on others innovations, how does the threat of substitute products impact your market position?
