Beside annoucing an increase in the number of Dropboxusers the main announcement was that Dropbox had added a new Business aspect. From now on users will easily swith between their private and professional documents on Dropbox without having to use two seperate accounts.

IBM expanded their cloud software portfolio so that their clients can more effortlessly copy their data to IBM cloud services. The main goal will be to send around faster large files. For this technology they will work together with Aspera that is already active in the movie and music industry.

Car maker Peugeot is deploying 10,000 BlackBerry Z10 smartphones across its Spanish and French operations.

Peugeot has decided to distribute 10 000 BlackBerry z10's to their employees in France and Spain. The reason that they've chosen BlackBerry is mostly for security reasons, according to the head of telecoms this was the best solution for their employees who need to share and access confidential information every day. 

To ensure this safety matter Peugeot will use the BES10 platform which also supports IOS and android.

The federal police in Belgium has renewed their infrastructure that sends out the footage from their helicopters. With this infrastructure it will now be possible to receive the footage everywhere on ground level. This can happen because every police zone can buy their own receiving installation that widens the capacibility.

The subject of this article is about the Dutch post that will put their entire datacenter into the cloud and the necessairy discharges of 220 IT'ers. The post has taken this decission because they have to economize up to 200 million eurosper year and by putting their datacenter in a cloud  system they save on infrastructure- and applicationadministrators. An example is the SAP center where after the reformations no longer 120 people but only 40 people will work.

Apple just launched a new app that will allow them to beter provide product information to their customers who visit the Apple stores in the US. By putting on their bleutooth the customers will be tracked while they are walking in the shop. Whenever they pass a product they will receive additional information on the specific product.

Jaguar Landrover (JLR) has used a proposed data sharing standard to improve car development within its product lifecycle management (PLM) system.

The Jaguar Landrover producers were in need of new production technology after Ford sold the company in 2008. After the company was sold the new owner needed to to migrate the former production technology into the new business system. They wanted to have a single source that brings together al the information regarding the applications needed for the production of a car. Now they've found a solution that integrates their production software to their ERP system. To accomplish this they are using a PLM pltform  from Dassault Systems and IBM who are working together to deliver a solution.

Advantage is a travel agency that employes mostly independent travel agents who are on the road most of the time. This means that when a  customer calls the office and wants to speak with a specific agent that was difficult to reach that person. By closing this new deal it will be possible for the agency to redirect phonecalls immediatelly to their agents who are on route or working from home.

With this product you will be able to perform payments with your mobilephone because you can store all your creditcardinformation into one application.
