They were building the biggest ship in the world and the company wanted to make sure that the experiencewas digital and big. That's why they used ICT on board. It is critical to help passengers find their way, so they build up digital and interactive signs. People can use the ICT tools in order to access maps, get directions, see the activities and book in restaurants.
-Improvement of customer satisfaction. Everybody likes to live in a digital way. It's easier and the passengers can enjoy their travel more easily.
-Cost reduction. Everything is controlled automatically for example the food inspection. The past inspection took five hours with paper-based logs. Now all of the things are automatically checked and that results in less costs (less people are needed).
-Spped and agility improving. The waiters and salespeople are mobile and taking of orders and order-processing are very fast.
