Many schools who have adopted MyPortfolio have moved beyond the sandbox phase and are wanting to incorporate these powerful reflection and evidence based tools more formally into everyday practice. Performance Management / Appraisal systems fit naturally with this progression. Schools around NZ are developing templates that provide teachers with prompts to reflect and demonstrate evidence of practice against the Teacher Registration Criteria and 'Teaching as Inquiry' cycle. I created the presentation in this post to talk schools through the process and stages of implementing PM at their school.
