How To Find Openly Licensed Educational Resources You Can Use [Infographic]

How To Find Openly Licensed Educational Resources You Can Use [Infographic] | e-learning y aprendizaje para toda la vida | Scoop.it
Most of us turn to the internet when we are looking for resources to use for a presentation, report or article. The internet holds the key to so many robust resources.

Yet how many of these resources can you legally use for free? How many of them can you adapt?

That’s where Open Educational Resources (OER) can help. Here’s an infographic from the Center for Open Educational Resources and Language Learning (at the University of Texas at Austin) that can help.

Every language teacher and student should contribute to make this a powerful resource concept. Language is an instrument; use it, take care of it, share it.

Thanks to @Dennis T OConnor for sharing this infographic on finding and identifying open source education resources.

The History Of Learning Tools [Infographic]

The History Of Learning Tools [Infographic] | e-learning y aprendizaje para toda la vida | Scoop.it

You’re going to want to print out this infographic and, at the very least, share it with your fellow teachers and even students. It’s all about the history of education technology and could be used to educate just about anyone on how far we’ve come in a short period of time. We did a more in-depth look at the history of education technology about a year ago but this infographic is a lot more… fun.

Anyway, the below infographic from CTU can be viewed below or downloaded as a PDF here (so you can fire up that color printer). Enjoy the walk down memory lane!

Great background information to build our understanding. I really like seeing them all presented this way for easy comparison.

What Type of Learner Are You? [Infographic]

What Type of Learner Are You? [Infographic] | e-learning y aprendizaje para toda la vida | Scoop.it

As practitioners will already know, the way that one learner studies may differ from the way that a classmate does, because of their different styles of learning.

The four types are...

- visual learners,
- auditory learners,
- read and write learners, and
- kinesthetics learners.

Each function is clearly illustrated and explained in this infographic produced by onlinecollege.org.

Learning suggestions, and which tests the learner types are likely to excel in better than others, are provided.

This is a helpful guide for...

- IAG Practitioners

- Learners

- Initial Teacher Training

- educators, especially those who are adamant that there is only one way to revise.
