Text Wall - using SMS in the classroom

Text Wall is an interesting concept where students can send messages to a site and then the entire class can see this messages displayed on a monitor or interactive whiteboard.  For the Czech Market, I think SMS pricing is too high.  I'd be interested in finding more services like this if anyone knows any! :)

Glenn, people can also email in or post using a web form, using sms only if they have free ones on contract.

Google Drive

"Google Drive is everywhere you are—on the web, in your home, at the office and on the go. So wherever you are, your stuff is just...there. Ready to go, ready to share. Get started with 5 GB free."

Great for collaborative documents, presentations, embeddable forms to capture information.. very easy to use and encourages teachers to rethink the design of their learning activities, in other words, encourages transformation of learning and teaching.

A Principal's Reflections: Flipping Instruction in a Captivating Fashion

A Principal's Reflections: Flipping Instruction in a Captivating Fashion | e-learning tools 101 | Scoop.it
Education is a reflective practice. This blog provides my views on educational leadership, effective technology integration, best practices, and creating a student-centered learning culture.

I am including this blog as an example of how you may glean inspiration and move forward in developing e-learning skills - find one blog to follow, read a post and reflect on how you may use the ideas in the blog in your own practice. You may be able to explore the tools mentioned in there. The key thing is to not be overwhelmed with too much information - pick one thing to develop your skills in, and when you have mastered that, you can build on that foundation.

You don't have to go with my recommendation - there are so many e-learning blogs out there!

Free personal journal and online diary....possibly easier than a blog? There's the familiarity with 'filling in a sheet of paper' and the entries taking up one page at a time...I've gone pro so that I can tag, use the mobile app, email in to the journal etc.
