This is another important point of view about e-learning. We can expect a much better compatibility between e-learning and lifelong learning than with "on campus" learning.
This publication stresses that connection, which form my point of view, it is vital.
Another important aspect about e-learnig that is not mentioned in the article, but I will use this publication for repeat it once more, is the wde range of courses, activities and topics that e-learning can offer because of the endless number of potential learners. By traditional learning, a cours might not have taken place becuase an insufficient number of students required to create and open the course. Nevertheless a worldwide offer can make that a extrem specific topic has even wating list of interested learners.!
Please bear in mind this to main aspects of e-learning that for me are basic, and I do not hear/read about it so much as ,in my view, I should!
Is it intended that mobile learning will replace traditional training or e-learning? Or will it be used as a support mechanism, forming part of a blended training solution (this has worked well for many organizations that have tried ...
I land here thanks to a traning of INTEF (Ministry of Educaction) in which I am very focused now. In my view, one of the most relevant and newest topics was mobile learning. This version of e-learning was rather unkown for me, because I have been always quite reluctant to implement smartphones and other devices, specially those with cameras, into calssroom. I cannot help, however, feeling teh attraction of this new methodology, and I will try to use it with special target groups.
Well, back to my new element, this is a basic explanaton about m-learning address for those which want to get introduced to it. In my personal opinion, the best of this artcle is the structure based on the first class of journalism: " Wh- questions" .
To conclude I recommend reading this article for all newcomers to m-learning era!
I'm now using smartphones, student blogging, and online discussion forums in class. I know this is going to be hard for you, and you will probably reinvent yourself or do ...
Extending the blend. Many companies want to continue some form of classroom training, however, are in need of a mechanism to keep the learning alive. Mobile is a great way to give the learner short bursts of data that effectively connects ...
Once more I bring you a clear structured document with keypoints listed. In this document, from last week, I want to highlight the transferability from education system to companies. Usuaually we connect all this new e-learning staff with students, pupils, always in a learning field. However, I made no connections between this sytem and market and companies.
So here can we relaize how e-learning can be extrapolated to companies.
I am quite happy with Scoop it,which is allowing me to have many and new different points from e-learning, which I never tought about!
Don't assess how mobile fits in your blended learning strategy. Today, 50% of the US workforce is now considered ... 2. Keep mLearning content development tactical.
I can't help reading a listed arguments article! In this one we can fin 10 reasons that should be taken into account by mobile learning. This structure make it easy to read, it is clear, direct and I agree with most of them.
Classroom training/Instructor Let Training (ILT); Online training/eLearning/ Web-Based Training (WBT)/ Computer-Based Training (CBT); Blended learning; Mobile learning (M-Learning). Every training program intends to ...
Thus I would argue that UBC also needs to focus just as much on fully online learning, or distance education, as on blended learning, or on improving the campus, as important as that is. In particular the lifelong learning ...
