Part of that planning process involves the technological component (or lack thereof). 21st Century Learning includes both instructional best practices and the implementation of technology to enhance and supplement classroom learning. …”

46 Tools to Make Infographics in the Classroom

46 Tools to Make Infographics in the Classroom | E-learning in classroom. E-learning with iPad | Scoop.it

Infographics are interesting–a mash of (hopefully) easily-consumed visuals (so, symbols, shapes, and images) and added relevant character-based data (so, numbers, words, and brief sentences).

The learning application for them is clear, with many academic standards–including the Common Core standards–requiring teachers to use a variety of media forms, charts, and other data for both information reading as well as general fluency...

Las infografías son una herramienta muy útil por su factor visual: en poco espacio y de forma visulamente agradable y atrayente, engloba datos y relaciona conceptos.

How To Create Interactive Lessons for the iPad - Daily Genius

How To Create Interactive Lessons for the iPad - Daily Genius | E-learning in classroom. E-learning with iPad | Scoop.it

"As a teacher, you are used to create your own lessons. The xerox, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint are your trusted companions. But how can you effectively use iPads in your lessons?

The ebooks provided by publishers are mostly static and just not interesting enough for today’s students. Some educational apps are great, but finding the rights ones, figuring out how they work and getting them installed on all student devices can be a hassle.

Aren’t there easy ways to create your own materials for iPad? Yes, there are! Try these:"

Apps Are Better Than Textbooks. Here Are 10 Compelling Examples. | E-learning in classroom. E-learning with iPad | Scoop.it
"We’ve theorized before that apps are the new textbook. That was back in 2012, and this hasn’t proven true for a variety of reasons. Not every classroom has tablets. Textbooks, while stagnant, are chock full of information and content. Further, some apps are pretty bad. Buggy. All flash and very little content. Difficult to integrate into curriculum. So while apps are seen as new school cool and books as dated, the latter persist, and probably aren’t going anywhere anytime soon."

If you’re interested in education OR technology, then this is a great graphic you should check out. It’s via Bill Ferriter who shared this with the world on Twitter quite awhile ago. Why do we think it’s awesome? Because it’s a simple reminder of what we should all be striving for whilst using and promoting the usage of technology."
