"BadgeWidgetHack is a very basic, lightweight OBI-compliant badge displayer.

 

The widget currently:
- shows up to the first four badges in the group you selected,
- badge images link to the hosted assertion, and
- badge names linking to the badge descriptions."

I am a little excited about having just earned my first open badge! I earned the Badges101 badge by successfully completing the quiz on the Mozilla Open Badges site, to test my knowledge of badges. To be fair, the quiz was very easy and I'm sure the novelty of earning my first open badges has contributed to my enthusiasm but I think I did also feel a small thrill at achieving something and having some knowledge recognised. :)

Hi Gainne - have you had a look at Moodle OpenBadges link and my ScoopIT site? Was kindly set up with an account for a test site for openbadges in Moodle and have made a number of different badges on it. I am @gideonwilliams on Twitter.

Thanks Gideon. I've scooped your post about automatically issuing badges in Moodle - do you know when you'll start using Open Badges for this?
