Scholarships for Students with Dyslexia:


  • Anne Ford Scholarship - $10,000 for a high school senior with a documented learning disability who will be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program
  • Allegra Ford Scholarship - $2500 one-time scholarship to a graduating high school senior with a documented learning disability who will be enrolled in a two-year community college, a vocational or technical training program, or a specialized program for students with LD
  • Learning Ally Marion Huber Award - $2000-6000 for a student planning to attend a 2-4 year college or vocational school. Applicants must have been members for LearningAlly.org for at least 1 year before applying.
  • Anne & Matt Harbison Special Education Scholarship - $1500 to a student pursuing education beyond high school. This scholarship is potentially renewable for 3 years.
  • Mentis Foundation Dyslexia Scholarships - The selection criteria include: intellectual capability and curiosity, potential contribution to society, resolve, extracurriculars, and benefit from financial assistance.
Specialty and State-Based Scholarships for students with dyslexia:
There are many other scholarships than these. Always check at your school and also free only resources like: the College Board Scholarship Search, searching under 'dyslexia' and 'learning disabilities'. Good luck!
