The cultural project citybooks.eu offered students of Dutch at Sheffield to get involved with translation and creative writing. They proved to be very capable at both. Here students performed their student citybook during the Association of Low Countries Studies Conference in Sheffield 2012.

In spring 2012 4th year students at Sheffield organised their own conference: Windows on Dutch Culture. It showed how they were capable of putting an exciting and in-depth programme together, as well as sorting out the (financial) planning, the promotion and the organisational issues.
