THE Government of Malaysia will continue to give priority to the agriculture sector to ensure food security and enhance national income with an allocation of RM5.8bil to the Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Ministry.
DuPont organizes the rice farming for luncheon project - Mr. Kornkanok Chantakitwattana, DuPont Crop Protection Manager together with DuPont Thailand employees from DCP helped growing rice for school lunch fund in Pichit Province. This community program helped create awareness of the importance of rice which strongly represents Thai identity and culture among the children and to support the local community for a better living and nutrition.
(VEN) - DuPont Vietnam in cooperation with The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) organized the Vietnam Food Security Forum in HCMC with the participation of leading agricultural scientists and more than 100 businesses operating in the southern region. DuPont Executive Vice President James C Borel talked about the global food security problem and Vietnam in an interview with Vietnam Economic News' reporters Kim Chi and Thu Hien.
DuPont established its business in Vietnam in 1994 when it first launched the crop protection products. Since then, DuPont has expanded its operation and business bringing in more high-quality raw materials products for supplying to local manufacturing customers in many key industries in Vietnam including agriculture, footwear, cookware, packaging and industrial polymer, automobile, construction, refrigeration and safety.
