Dream Moods: How To Have Lucid Dreams

Dream Moods: How To Have Lucid Dreams | Dream Theories | Scoop.it
Dream Moods is the only free online source you need to discover the meanings to your dreams.
Kelsey Martel's insight:

Lucid dreaming:  know you are awake and you can control aspects of your dreams.  This can be used to practice anything that you want to

improve on in real life.

Steps to lucid dreaming:

1.  Record remembered dreams to become familiar with dream style, mood, and quality.

2.  Throughout the day, ask yourself if you're dreaming. Check the clock twice quickly to make sure time hasn’t changed (as it would in a dream).

3.  Count (One, I am dreaming.  Two, I am dreaming. etc.)  while you are trying to fall asleep.

4.  Identify dream signals, such as objects that consistantly reoccur in dreams.

5.  Use the dream signals to know that you are dreaming.

6.  Encourage lucid dreams, but do not force them.  Before going to sleep, tell yourself what you want to dream about.
