M.A.A.D City

This year's grammies had a boatload of great performances by some of the biggest names.

Show the world why you are worthy of being the person you think you are and that is a highly respected, powerful human being. Getting a spot to perform at the Grammy Awards is major and means that you are doing everything right when it comes to your music career. However, the Grammies is watched by millions, maybe even billions, a simple mess-up at this event ca be the start of the ending of your career which is why every little detail in an artist's performance must be perfect.

Ms. Fierce!!!

Beyonce is known for her breath taking beauty, amazing, uplifting music, and outstanding performances and in this scoop it states how she put all of these together for one of her biggest shows yet at the Super Bowl 2013.

Thousands of fans sitting at the stadium bleachers let alone the millions of viewers sitting at home watching the game stay tuned to watch Beyonce flip her hair, strut her stuff, and pop, lock, and drop it to the rhythm of her on music. What a way to reappear to the scene being that Beyonce took a little time off from her career to join the world of motherhood. This Super Bowl performance was the talk of every town for quite some time; it included snippets of a number of her hit songs, crazy dance moves, and the reunion of Destiny's Child. Although her performance was an experience to die for, Beyonce was not 100% satisfied with the photos posted on the internet from the performance. The naked eye may have missed it but the camera catches everything from a dance-step mess-up to an unpleasant facial expression and while Beyonce moved smoothly to the beat her animated faces had a few rough edges. It's not like she can say "Cut! Let us do that again but better", like she would for a music video. Everything was final and the fans had a laugh while posting the photos on the net.

Live Performances and Social Media

Social media has a reputation of spreading news around faster than the News itself. In this scoop, Facebook fans thought it would be okay to share footage of live performances by Prince. Prince appears not to be too happy about the situation being that he is in the middle of suing Facebook fans for copyright.

You would think Prince would feel good about fans promoting his concerts (for free at that). Social media has over billions of followers let alone popularity throughout other types of media. A simple post could and would go viral causing it to be the main topic of every conversation. Not that Prince needs the recognition but social media just may have expanded his fan base. In contrast, the live footage fans posted may have caused Prince to lose money. Why pay to go to a concert when you have the option to sit back and wait to see videos of the action via internet? This may have been how Prince felt about the situation which is why he plans to get his money using a different alternative.

Thats So Lyn's insight:

They're bringing TuPac Back!

Technology has come a long way as we can see here in this scoop where fans got to enjoy a hologram performance by the late great Tupac Shakur.

Fans were stuck in shock and amazements once they saw TuPac walk on to stage and start doing his thing. With this new technology there is a chance for many of our legendary entertainers who are no longer walking this earth to bring life back to the stage once again. Imagine how much money people would put in just to seeing Michael Jackson moonwalk before their eyes again or even Martin Luther King present his famous inspirational speech. That sounds like a great experience; however, the creators of the hologram must divvy up lots money in order for the show to go on in hopes that there will be enough ticket sells for them to make a profit. This may be the reason why the hologram idea didn't expand as much as we thought it should being that the creators of the TuPac hologram went bankrupt in just a short time.
