* * *

--> Warum also nicht open world mit dokumentarischem Inhalt umsetzen?

Seit David Dufresnes Fort McMoney http://www.fortmcmoney.com/#/fortmcmoney
hat das keiner mehr gemacht, oder?

An Evolution in Storytelling and Impact – Immerse

An Evolution in Storytelling and Impact – Immerse | Documentary Evolution | Scoop.it
It’s been over a decade since I came to the realization that calling myself a filmmaker was useless. As my work began to mix storytelling, design thinking, game mechanics and code, I found myself in a space where running times, formats and platforms didn’t matter anymore. It became clear to me that a single medium couldn’t define what I was attempting to do.

ONE SHARED HOUSE – an interactive documentary

ONE SHARED HOUSE – an interactive documentary | Documentary Evolution | Scoop.it
Thirty years ago, eight women embarked on a radical experiment in urban living: they built a communal house in central Amsterdam in which practically everything — from kitchen utensils to childcare — was shared. The house was conceived as an alternative to expensive, single-family apartments and atomized urban lives. It also reflected decades of progressive thinking on feminism, gay rights, and collaborative living. With co-living making a comeback, New York-based designer Irene Pereyra returned to her childhood home to learn about the story of this unusual place, and to discover what we are willing to share in our living environment on a day-to-day basis — beyond the safety of our screens.

"The report reveals the perspectives of a viewing audience of professionals working in federal, state, and local government agencies that deal with education and teen homelessness. For this audience, the intimate stories of young people experiencing homelessness were the most compelling and emotionally engaging elements of the film, compared with statistics about the issue. Audience members believe the film can help them in their professional missions, even while they acknowledge the challenges of funding and infrastructure needed to support young people living on the streets."
