So it looks like a company Called DEEP HOUSE in the Netherlands decided to create a public DJ booth where just about anyone with the right equipment ,a pair of headphones and a music selection can DJ. This creation is called the Fono and its only currently available to the Dutch Here'a quote from Deep House directly "As Deep House Amsterdam writes: “One downside of Fono is that it doesn’t have actual pitch slides to beatmatch two different tunes manually, nor are there any EQ knobs present. What users can do, however, is automatically sync tracks and cue/pre-listen to your mix-in track over your headphones. The effects that can be used are: loop, delay, crush, scratch, filter and more.” Check out some of Yalp’s videos below. Are you sold on the idea?" Take a look at the video below and make sure to visit the Fono site Here
Hardwell just announced new tour dates for his I Am Hardwell North American Tour.
To kick things off a littler harder, he decided to punk his fans by taking himself to the street of Time Square accompanied by a journalist from Elite Daily. Let me tell you, the fans reactions and responses are priceless. Fans said their favorite DJ's were David Hardwell and above all Avicii. Most didn't even know that Hardwell was standing next to them the whole time. Do yourself a favor and watch this video for laughs.

Tocuh screens. They're everywhere and extend user friendliness to new heights, unless you have fat fingers;sorry. How would you feel if there was a way to add a touch screen to your favorite DJ controller? Touchscreens allow the ability to endlessly control your controller be it the track list selection, the FX, Vinyl, or simply the software your using with your controller. Perhaps this sparks your interest. Now where to get one? The guys over at Kontrol-DJ created a touchscreen add on for DJ controllers that is currently only compatible with controllers that use Decadence software. Bummer. It is just a concept at the moment and know one is really using it at the moment, but this could be ground breaking if controllers actually start incorporating this into their designs. The only thing that's not left to look forward to is the steep prices that this add on would bring to the controllers. Check out the video below for more info!
Word has spread that the social media giant Twitter is set to acquire the Online Music Streaming Giant SoundCloud . No bids have yet been revealed but I can imagine it won't be shy of Apple's offer to acquire Beats. So what does this mean for musicians and twitter users alike? Well, SoundCloud will potentially gain a wall, where users and artists can communicate with each other with out having to go back and fourth in message and comments. This makes the whole idea of reaching out and communicating to your fans that much easier. On the other hand this also makes it easier for the already popular spammers out there to get you to listen to their track or their latest bootleg etc.. Nonetheless this seems like great news for social and music online communities. We think that the merge will grant access to more fans and allow the sharing time time be increased exponentially. Just think about it, hashtags, retweets, and shares on two platforms simultaneously? Sounds great if you ask me. Now, if they could only combine videos into this whirlwind. Now that sounds like a completely different platform, but don't get any ideas! Here is what DJ Tech Tools had to say about the potential merge P.S Make sure to Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay updated with the latest news!
