There are many reasons why it is easier to focus on channel, packaging or business model innovation rather than core product or service innovation.  As I noted previously, there may be a significant standard to overcome - the internal combustion engine or electricity distribution.

Point de vue intéressant : "quand les fabricants de produits se mettent à innover sur le packaging, l'info produit, le canal de vente ou le modèle économique, c'est un bon signe que le produit a atteint ses limites en matière d'innovation (incrémentale) et que le secteur est en attente d'une innovation produit (de rupture celle là)."
