Not sure I totally agree that mediation cant be used - where an individual has bullied unwittingly, say due to their own work pressures, mediating can really help them have an understanding of the impact of their behaviour and to find other ways to work with people that are more effective. An interesting reflection on having good conflicts! I particuarly like the idea of walking the 'Middle way' - knowing that avoiding conflict isn’t good but also debating ideas all the time isnt practical or useful either.
A good useful tip here is about taking out the 'personal' and focusing on the 'idea'. Often what we percieve as an attack on us personally is not intended as such.
