Apprenticeships can mean high-paying jobs, without degrees or heavy student loan bills.

This is a very viable alternative to the college track. I suspect many kids would be more engaged in their education if the goal was to prepare them for this higher education. Delete the scoop?

It seems to me they had a vision (pre-k to HS); created a plan and implemented it well. That is where the magic is: know your purpose, make a plan and do what you say you will do.
