The threat will expand east through the day, bringing a severe threat of large hail, gusty winds in excess of 60 mph and a few tornadoes to places like Nashville, Tenn., Atlanta and Huntsville, Ala., and Asheville, N.C., by early evening.

His photos captured a Buffalo-area resident digging a path out from his or her home, a handful of trucks that remain stranded on Interstate 90, rows of cars buried at a dealership, houses that look like igloos and a very snow-covered Ralph Wilson Stadium — home of the Buffalo Bills and current host to more than 220,000 tons of snow.

A cold front expected in the Myrtle Beach area Monday afternoon will crash into unseasonably warm, humid air and create hazardous weather conditions, forecasters said.

Temperatures are expected to climb into the lower to mid 70s Monday before they plummet to the mid 30s overnight, forecasters said. Severe storms are expected overnight.

WHO assistant director-general Dr. Bruce Aylward says if the response to the Ebola crisis isn't stepped up within 60 days, "a lot more people will die" and there will be a huge need on the ground to deal with the spiraling numbers of cases. He said WHO estimated there could up to 10,000 cases per week in two months.

A line of strong storms moved into the Borderland Sunday night bringing widespread and heavy rain, gusts to 45mph, plenty of lightning and pea sized hail to the area. The same storm system that brought us the storms Sunday night will linger over the area and more storms are expected Monday.  Cloud to ground lightning and strong gusts are the main concerns with these storms, as well as flash flooding with already saturated ground.
