Paul Stickland's insight:
"Dinosaur Roar has become very popular with young dinosaur enthusiasts. The bold and beautiful illustrations based on real (and not so real!) dinosaurs give lots to talk about and enjoy. The text is simple but memorable with a strong rhyme and rhythm. It reads like a poem and children will enjoy joining in."
Some great ideas on how to use Dinosaur Roar! in the home or classroom.
MY LAST festival experience was Glastonbury in 1999, but having attended the Just So Festival last week, I can honestly say the 16-year hiatus was worth the wait. Back in the summer of '99, David Bowie, the Chemical Brothers and Travis headlined. At Just So, the star turns were Campfire Stories, Dinosaur Roar and Fairy Wands."
We’re excited to announce that the first ever Dinosaur Roar! Magazine will be published by Egmont Publishing in April! The Magazine is packed full of dinosaur facts with a colouring book and 40 stickers to play with.
Saturday morning first thing (9am!) we were in the Tea Tent with a session on 3D Monster Paper Modelling with the fabulously creative Paul Stickland (of the ever-popular Dinosaur Roar! and lots of other children's books) and his equally talented wife Helen. I'm a big fan of his and their workshops with children are amazing. My lads both made awesome monsters and even my usually reluctant and hyperactive 5 year old thoroughly enjoyed doing it!
