This article claims that Google+, Pinterest and SlideShare use will increase and LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube will decrease for B2B. I'm not sure I agree that LinkedIn will decline - what do you think?

 

The study was done by B2B Marketing, which has B2B Marketing magazine, training events, an annual conference, benchmarking reports and B2B Marketing Awards. You have to buy the report in order to see detailed survey results, which I did not do!

Have you tried the new Gmail yet?

Google unveiled a new Inbox system last week for all Gmail users, and today, that update was rolled out to mobile apps as well.

What do you think so far?

Personally, I am really enjoying the new organization and am really excited that it's on my mobile app now as well. Since switching from using Outlook primarily, having a consistent Inbox and access to all messages, no matter where I am, has proven invaluable.

The top 35 banks on Facebook claim nearly nine million fans among them. Of those, 71%, or 6,259,027 fans, belong to the top three.

Chase tops the list with 2.9 million. Amex is second with 2.4 million, followed by Barclays with over 930,000.

The 35 banks in the list claim some 8,817,837 likes out of a combined 1.5 billion customers. That means they are reaching an average of 0.6% of their base, or one in every 173 customers. If you exclude the three top-performing banks from the calculation, the average drops to one in every 525 customers — only 0.2% of their base.
