The "consumerization" of business IT - where employees bring their own devices to work and start using hardware and software without the approval of IT directors - is changing how companies (and arguably schools) operate. Workers (teachers and students too) are choosing their own tools based on their needs. That is purposeful use of technology and true integration. BYOD policies at our school should be actively articulated and promoted whilst the infrastructure to support these devices lshould be laid in place.
