Digital reading is rising fast among children ages 6 to 17, but this is not necessarily translating into a greater desire to read, a new Scholastic report says.

Digital Reading is on the rise mostly due to the fact that more children have access to tablets.  This article sparks the question about what can be done to make reading more enjoyable and motivate students to want to read over other activities (playing games, using social media, etc.).
