If your employees are bragging about how great it is to work for you, then you're definitely doing something right.  The amount of social proof gained is priceless and genuine.  I don't think companies should focus on this concept, but they should be aware of how a strong brand can be even more so and seek to encourage and reward employees and partners who advocate.
