Why is our start-up system broken? | Digital & Mobile Landscape Asia Pac | Scoop.it
A US guru claims we're ignorant of local tech talent. What needs to change?
Charles Young's insight:

Such a shame there are not the investment funds here in Australia to match the level of technical innovation. There is money if you need a small Angel round to kick off an idea and also some Series A once you are post revenues and about to climb the hockey stick (arguably when you don't need money) but a barren wasteland for companies in between these points.

Connected fashion store adds online features to high street shopping

Connected fashion store adds online features to high street shopping | Digital & Mobile Landscape Asia Pac | Scoop.it
The flagship Rebecca Minkoff store in New York City is adding a touch of digital to the offline shopping experience.
Charles Young's insight:

An Interesting look at retail innovation, but is it really necessary? Would you prefer this over an attentive staff member in-store? This seems to be trying to change a shoppers behavior unnecessarily? Shoppers want a more traditional experience in store, great customer service and the ability to touch and feel the products. Retailers should be investing in people and training in-store.

Users want a tool to make the research phase Online easier and we believe that we have solved this part of the problem with Clinch.

We encourage you to join the debate - what is the best in-store shopping experience for you?

Merry Christmas everybody!
