Something is still missing…

May has been a record-breaking month for Crystal Clear. We have had incredibly strong sales and our customer satisfaction is at 96 percent! Now obviously, we would like it to be 100 percent, and we will continue to do everything we can to provide the Best Customer Service Experience Ever by a Digital Marketing Company! It was nice having a long weekend, and I was able to get some much-needed rest but now we must finish May strong! One of the things we have always tried to instill in our sales and our service department is never to be too relaxed. Starting tomorrow, the latest change to Google’s algorithm will begin to have a significant impact on the search results of your practice.  This is one of the largest changes in Google history.  This is so significant that CNBC’s Maria Bartiromo discussed the implications on her morning show today saying, “businesses who rank 1 or 2 for important phrases could drop to as low as 8 or 9 if they ignore the change.”  This could make the difference between a first page ranking and a second page ranking which we all know is like the difference between night and day. Doctor’s famous last words: “We already do all that.”

As a frequent exhibitor at more than 30 aesthetic, orthodontic and wellness conventions I am no stranger to this all-encompassing default statement uttered by busy attendees. Here’s how it goes… Us: “Hello Dr. Smith, have you heard of Crystal Clear before?” Doctor: “What do you do?” Us: “We are a digital marketing company……..” Doctor: “We already do all that!” Of course there is a large percentage of physician attendees who stop and engage in meaningful dialogue, but I feel like I am letting down so many great doctors who essentially have no idea what digital marketing REALLY means. The Right Foot

I have always loved the statement Let s make sure we get off on the right foot!  It is strange to think of how phrases like this actually enter our society, but nevertheless it has.  I did a little digging around to see where this phrase might have originated.  Although, one can t be completely sure, it appears to come from the old English phrase of the wrong foot . Richard Harvey, in Plaine Perceuall the peace-maker of England, 1590, is the first to record the wrong foot in print: Thou putst the wrong foote before. Despite the implication otherwise in the phrase, put your best foot forward we only have two choices. So if there s a wrong foot there has to be a right one too, and get off on the right foot is also in common use.
