Preventing and/or fixing these mistakes isn’t going to magically increase your rankings, and these aren’t the only mistakes you have to watch out for. SEO is an enormous, multifaceted strategy, but the more proactive and the more aware you are, the better chance you’ll have at building solid organic search visibility for the long term. As a general rule, you should always be operating under the assumption that you’re doing something wrong—double check your processes and audit your strategies regularly, as no matter how experienced or knowledgeable you are, there’s always room for improvement.

Mobile devices now account for 34 per cent of global ecommerce transactions. m-commerce accounted for 27 per cent of all ecommerce in Southeast Asia, putting the region at a similar level to Spain and Italy, and right behind the US, a report released by performance marketing technology company Criteo highlighted.


With smartphones, desktops and tablets being used in a variety of combinations to research and make purchasing decisions, globally, more than 40 per cent of ecommerce transactions now involve multiple devices.


Criteo analysed 1.4 billion individual ecommerce transactions totaling over USD 160 billion of annual sales globally.


Mobile transactions in Southeast Asia now account for 27 per cent of all ecommerce transactions, with Indonesia at 34 per cent, Taiwan at 31 per cent and Singapore at 29 per cent. Globally, mobile transactions are predicted to reach 40 per cent by the end of 2015....

As you know, I love lurking around Reddit and finding valuable case studies, since nothing beats real life examples.This time I found probably the best case study when it comes to landing page conversion optimization.Ethan, the co-founder and designer of the upcoming startup Plotguru was kind enough to take the time and write his own experience managing to increase his landing page conversion rate from 9% to 52% (!)

 

Just, so you know numbers: a 9% conversion rate is decent in the online marketing world, a 52% conversion rate is extremely good and rarely achieved....
