28 Browser Extensions That Make an SEO’s Life Easier

28 Browser Extensions That Make an SEO’s Life Easier | Digital Marketing Information and Trends | Scoop.it

Neil Patel: 'As an expert SEO, you have to be a jack-of-all-trades.

You need to understand link building, marketing, public relations, psychology, and technology.

At a certain point, there’s just not enough time in the day to do everything you’d like to do.

But you can save quite a bit of time and effort on small things by using browser extensions.

You can install them with one or two mouse clicks and access them with ease to the right of your address bar.

They will help you to:

- analyze website performance quickly

- examine code behind websites

- build links better

- save time by improving your task efficiency

I’ve put together a list of 28 browser extensions I consider to be the best. I encourage you to give a few of them a try': http://www.quicksprout.com/2015/07/27/28-browser-extensions-that-make-an-seos-life-easier/

Surely a valuable read because one of the biggest reasons business owners don't use SEO tools is because they're often not handy.

Why Word of Mouth Should Be a B2B Marketer’s Top Priority

Why Word of Mouth Should Be a B2B Marketer’s Top Priority | Digital Marketing Information and Trends | Scoop.it
Word of mouth is the original marketing channel. Before social media, before email, before even radio ads, direct mail, or billboards, there was word of mouth.

The oldest form of marketing also ends up being the most effective. In dozens of studies, word of mouth simply crushes all other channels. If there is marketing gold, word of mouth appears to be it.

12 Types of Evergreen Content That Attract Valuable Links

12 Types of Evergreen Content That Attract Valuable Links | Digital Marketing Information and Trends | Scoop.it

Excerpt from the article by Search Engine Watch:
"Evergreen content is a valuable resource for your website. The term "evergreen content" refers to content that won't quickly become out of date or totally incorrect within a short time period, such as a week or a month. You add updates as needed, linking back to it from new related content, and socialize with each change or whenever the topic again becomes timely.

Let's look at 12 types of evergreen content (here just is the list):
1. Yearly Posts That Can be Updated;
2. Posts That Track Something;
3. Interviews;
4. How-to Posts;
5. Posts About the History of Something;
6. About Us Pages;
7. User Tips;
8. Testimonials;
9. Reviews;
10. Curation Posts;
11. Personal Biographies;
12. Resources.

So when you're struggling to figure out what to write about, consider something evergreen. No one is going to churn out 100 evergreen posts a week, nor should they, but it's good to recognize the power of content that isn't outdated within a few days. People like it. They like sharing it, and that increases the odds that you'll attract links."

Each tip is analyzed with more information and example. Read full original article:
