They make a point that is true, but this is merely one place this sort of thing takes place. The Internet is a public place and everyone should undersand that everything one does, every click is recorded and used by many entities. It not just the peeping eyes of the Gmail man.
So maybe "Beware the peeping eyes of the Gmail man!" as Microsoft says, but beware and aware of all that companies know based on your credit card use, rewards programs and oh yes, each and every click you make on the Internet.
