un jargon difficile à appréhender. Aujourd’hui, il est complexe de se repérer parmi les différentes terminologies existantes. En effet, les cellules marketing des différents opérateurs/éditeurs mélangent allègrement Omni Canal, Cross Canal, Multi canal, et le reste.

It's important to understand your #customer #journey and the role #mobile will have for your brand:

 

"At the top of the funnel, advertisers want to introduce—or reintroduce—themselves to consumers, and a bit further down, engage them and build a long-term relationship. Smartphones have unique abilities to make these introductions and build relationships.

 

A May 2013 Chief Marketer study found that among marketers, the primary goal of mobile apps was building frequency of interactions and engagement with a brand. Some retailers use ads to introduce apps to prospective customers; others use ads to convince existing customers to deepen their relationship.

 

In a June 2013 survey conducted by JiWire, just 14% of shoppers preferred to research in-store, with the rest using laptops and mobile devices. Just further down the funnel, at the actual point of purchase, 45% preferred buying retail products in-store. Indeed, people are using their devices to mostly research, not buy products."

In late 2011, Google acquired Zave Networks, a company that specialized in digitizind coupons and loyalty rewards programs and today, it is launching its first product based on this acquisition: Zavers by Google.

 

With Zavers, Google says, retailers and manufacturers can get real-time data about coupon redemption and other analytics that can help them “manage distribution, tailor campaigns, and optimize budgets for maximum ROI.” Google notes that this service can help retailers “target the right coupons to the right customers” and increase the transaction speed at the register. Zavers, Google says, can also help manufacturers prevent fraud and its “powerful targeting tools” based on “customer preference and shopping habits” can help them ensure that their coupons reach the right audience.


Users can find Zavers discounts on retailers websites and then save them to their accounts. When they check out, coupon redemption happens in real time and savings are automatically deducted without the need to scan coupons (and hold up the line), though users need to link the account to their rewards cards or phone numbers.

Plus érieusement, quelques chiffres :

 

66% des utilisateurs autorisent désormais les notifications push en Europe, selon une étudeForrester. Mais s’ils accordent à ce moment un privilège certain : pouvoir communiquer avec eux en toute occasion et  sur leur support électronique le plus “intime”, ceux-ci seraient 89% a être atteints malgré la désactivation du paramètre par défaut.
