Plotagon is viable alternative to GoAnimate with many advantages: It is a download available for Mac or PC. The current beta version is FREE. Once downloaded you are free from bandwidth constraints that hamper online animation tools like Web 2.0. The characters are more life-like. Currently, Plotagon hopes to make it's money by enticing you to buy more characters - a perfectly fair business approach. They currently have a Marvel Superheroes pack available for 10 bucks that students would find irresistible. Final products can be opted to Plotagon's site OR YouTube.
