I've always been a huge promoter of putting what you want out there, and being aware of what your footprint.  Similar presenation given to #etmooc yesterday, but powerful enough to share again.

 

My favorite image is the image of the 80's guy with all the tech surounding him to the simplicity of a cell phone containing it all. "We've come a long way..." and for that I am grateful.

You don’t want technology for the sake of technology (and students aren’t going to be intrinsically fascinated with a device they use routinely when they’re outside of school).
