The use of social media platforms by sales people to generate leads and convert them into successful B2B conversions to generate revenue is summed as the concept of social selling. It’s an approach that leverages the use of various social media tools to filter targeted information based on locations, business verticals & social media profiles. The process enables sales professionals to post social updates, tweets & messages on the social media domain from their personal accounts to build their credibility as industry experts.

Some may see conversion as an online transaction, others as a sign up or an upgrade to a paid plan. Conversion objectives vary and are therefore crucial to define the attributes for different referrers & social networks. Determine the original referrer as the first touch attribution where they first heard & saw the social content or was it the referrer of the visit where the story was seen and where the actual conversion occurred as the last touch attribution.

Bento is a website that, thanks to its author Jon Chan and the many user contributions, has gathered, organized and curated the very best resources available online where you can learn how to code.

From html to javascript, ruby, php, Java, perl, Bento offers learning guidance for over 80 different technologies and coding languages.

Here is how Jon Chan, a 23 years old who launched this project in September of 2013, describes Bento:

"Bento is what I would have liked to have when I was learning to code.

I started learning to code when I was very young - about ten years old. Then, the only things I had available were what I could find online and through a few dense books.

Now, people have the exact opposite problem: how do you break through the noise and find what's actually valuable to learn?

This site is here to help you figure that out."

Bento is a perfect example of effective content curation as it does not simply collect and list all of the resources available to learn each language but it only suggests the very best ones, organizing them in easy, medium and hard and providing also "best of" / direct solutions that save readers lots of valuable time.

Free to use.

Useful, simple and immediate to use. Well organized. 9/10

Robin Good's insight:

Adobe has opened up an online academy for learning most anything from building mobile apps, to Photoshop, design, PowerPoint presentations and more.

There are already over 75 different courses available, and besides a few free Adobe introductory ones (Photoshop for beginners), all other courses are have a price tag ranging from $19 to $99 per course. You can pick and select courses you would like to take and save them in a wish list.

Each course provides a sneak preview, and includes multiple video modules on the selected topic.

Creativeblog reports: "With Adobe KnowHow you can also markup or add notes on the video as you're watching; making it even easier to master that new skill. You can also jump to cue points created by your annotations to review both your notes and the associated video content, so you'll be up to date all of the time."
