How Social Media Marketing Will Make You Money

Getting a crowd excited has forever been an issue for companies that operate online. Although there are a number of ways to capture a crowd, there is one that has gained a lot of attention over the years. Social media marketing is a viable tool that can be used by old and new companies to reach customers using various marketing options. This piece will allow you to get a few of the key elements in place. Whether you're creating content to publish on a blog, a tweet, Facebook or coming up with interesting titles, it is important you come up with something catchy that people will remember you by. When you draw in readers with enticing titles, you are going to have better luck directing readers in the direction that you want. Put a "retweet" button on every post at the top. By doing this, you're enabling people to share your material with their friends. It's actually taking a lot of marketing work away from you! You will raise the size of your viewership exponentially, getting your information out and where you need it effectively. If you use Twitter as a promotion method for your business, make certain you respond regularly to your followers. Thank people that mention you, and answer questions that are posed to you. This creates a growing and interactive relationship as opposed to a simple "company to consumer" transaction. This will help your followers to see you as a person, not just a business. You may want to either write a blog for someone else's site or let someone else write a guest blog on yours. Either way, you can generate more traffic. If you do a guest blog, get the permission of the host to leave a link to your site. Do the same if you have guest bloggers. The blogger's followers are likely to come check out the post as well as your site in the process. YouTube can be a valuable social media marketing tool. Using this site is an effective way to attract customers to your online site, because viewing videos gives them a lot of information about your products. The more visitors who come to your site with knowledge of your products will help increase sales. You can amp up your marketing plan without having to rely on banner ads and articles that aren't a bit of good. You can now reach a much larger audience in no time by using entertaining media. There is still a responsibility on the part of the business to provide quality products and services, but implementing the tips provided here will optimize your marketing plan and lead to a successful business endeavor.

Adobe: Video Accounts for 77% of Viral Reach on Social Nets | SocialTimes

Adobe: Video Accounts for 77% of Viral Reach on Social Nets | SocialTimes | Digital Arts Resource Guide | Scoop.it

...Adobe’s 2013 Video Benchmark Report, released today, showed how incorporating video content in social media campaigns can help brands and media companies get better results. In 2012, video social engagement rose from 42 percent to 70 percent compared to 2011, the study found.

But “for marketers and advertisers wanting to know how to unlock the potential on social,” Gaffney said, “it becomes very clear that one of the biggest levers that they’re not pulling as hard as they could is video.” Getting the content can be a challenge for marketers — videos don’t produce themselves — but Gaffney said the increase in engagement and reach will be worth the effort.

According to the report, social media users are more than twice as likely to engage in video content than non-video content, meaning that videos get more likes, comments, and shares than photos, links, and text. Viral reach for video, which is measured by the number of people who see a post in their feeds through friends or a brand page, accounts for 77 percent of all reach on social media sites....
