Research Guides: How to Create a Research Poster: Poster Basics

Posters are widely used in the academic community, and most conferences include poster presentations in their program.  Research posters summarize information or research concisely and attractively to help publicize it and generate discussion.

The poster is usually a mixture of a brief text mixed with tables, graphs, pictures, and other presentation formats. At a conference, the researcher stands by the poster display while other participants can come and view the presentation and interact with the author.

How to Make Beautiful and Effective Infographics

How to Make Beautiful and Effective Infographics | Visual Design and Presentation in Higher Edcuation | Scoop.it

Free HTML5 Online Animation Maker, Banner Maker and Video Maker | Animatron

Free HTML5 Online Animation Maker, Banner Maker and Video Maker | Animatron | Visual Design and Presentation in Higher Edcuation | Scoop.it

"Papa, can you help me create an animation for my school project?" asked my 10-year-old daughter. “Sure,” I said. “Let's see what software your teacher suggested you use.”

The software that my daughter’s teacher suggested turned out to be an ad-cluttered website that combined several images into an animated GIF. Not exactly the best tool for learning and creating real animation ... That's how the idea for Animatron was born: a powerful and user-friendly website that allows you to animate right in your browser and collaborate with your friends or colleagues in real time. JetBrains (a company that makes the world’s best developer tools!) liked the idea so much that they funded the project and supported us in many other ways!

Now, a few years later, Animatron has grown into a company of 15 awesome people working hard on redefining the world of animation software by building an entirely new way to create animated and interactive content for the modern web.
