Doodle 4 Google

Doodle 4 Google | Discovery Education Virtual Field Trips | Scoop.it
Doodle 4 Google

Doodles are the fun, surprising, and sometimes spontaneous changes that are made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists and innovators. Once a year, students are invited to design their very own Google logo in the annual Doodle 4 Google competition. This year's theme is "My Best Day Ever..." One talented student artist will see their artwork appear on the Google homepage, receive a $30,000 college scholarship, and a $50,000 technology grant for his or her school.

Kyle Schutt's insight:

Inspirational and on point with the need for Arts in Education. Especially integrated in STEM as exemplified through the use of Technology within the Arts.
