The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment reports that today's students mulling over their career options will find plenty of opportunity in the ICT sector.

According to the MBIE's 2014 Occupation Outlook annual report, ICT is one of the hottest career paths around. It predicts the employment in this sector to grow annually by 3 percent from 2016 to 2021, edging out other sectors in the report.

A recent filtered search on the Seek ICT website shows the highest demand for developers, project management, and business analysts. So are these the hottest IT career opportunities?
