Understanding crap detection is especially important in regards to searching for health care issues. While a bad link might hurt your reputation as a curator, a poorly researched link to a potential "cure" for your ailment could physically harm you should you choose to follow its advice.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. But if common sense and skepticism don't come easy to you, sites like these are always great resources to turn to in times of uncertainty. You should always use such tools to verify content written by authors you are not 100% confident in to verify originality and truthfulness.
