Since 1996 when Texas Pacific Group bought the company from the Castiglioni Brothers, Ducati has been in the hands of professional money people and while it’s safe to say there was some passion for the brand, the ongoing focus for the last 17 years, was to prepare the company for it’s inevitable new owners.
