Pramac Racing Team’s Héctor Barberá put in a great effort during qualifying for the Gran Premio d’Italia TIM at Mugello today, as he put his satellite Desmosedici third on the grid for the first time in his premier-class career. The Spanish rider was ecstatic with his performance at the Tuscan track: "It's the first time I’m on the front row and I'm very happy because this year we have four Yamahas and four Hondas on the grid that are very difficult to beat. And our bike is not official; it’s a satellite machine. But the team is at a very high level and has worked very well this weekend. I am very satisfied." The Valencian rider did his best lap today without sticking to the rear wheel of another rider, and has taken the opportunity to silence some of his rivals, who accuse him of always looking to benefit from the slipstream of others.
