Cafe Racer TV season three kicked off last Thursday with a crazy cool Ducati build, the first one the show has ever done) that started at the NCR race shop in Bologna with a box of ultra special motor parts and ended as a gold spangled Ducati instant classic.

This week Cafe Racer wraps up the Desmopro build with the test that inspired the project – the chance to have two ex-factory Ducati riders put it thru it’s paces and test the validity of the bike and it’s builder.

The night before the first press day, Volkswagen holds its Volkswagen Group Night event where they offer a preview to journalists away from the auto show some of what they plan to show at the auto show.


Volkswagen just finished up their Group Night at the Paris Auto Show 2012 and rolled out a preview of some of the things we’ll see at the Auto Show over the next couple days.

Of interest, this was the first time Ducati was featured in the Volkswagen Group Night activities as part of the overall Volkswagen Group. Ducati’s CEO Gabriele Del Torchio rolled on to the stage with Ducati’s new updated Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak.
